cmigemo software package provides Japanese incremental search tool written in C - binary, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cmigemo
cmigemo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cmigemo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cmigemo *
You will get with cmigemo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
